Seahawks weeks 8 through 13
Week 8 at Jacksonville
The Jags are heading in the right direction, but are still not good enough to be expected to beat the better NFL teams. This will be a close game though in every department, but one that I see the ‘hawks having just a bit too much for the fast-improving Jags.
I think the Seattle running backs could be in for a big day in Jacksonville as the offensive line will be able to create openings for them and the Jags linebackers are not good enough to stop them from making some big gains. We may even see D’Wayne Eskridge on some running plays (end arounds) in this game.

Prediction Jaguars 24 Seahawks 30 (Seahawks 6-2)
Week 9 – Bye
Week 10 at Green Bay
I am working on the basis that Aaron Rodgers is still under center for the Packers here. And as such, not many teams beat a Rodgers-led Packers team at Lambeau.
If the ‘Hawks are going to do so, it will be via the running game as the Packers have the best secondary in the league for me, so Carson and Penny along with Russell Wilson taking advantage of opportunities that allow him to run for first downs.
Even if they do, I fear the Packers will rack up the yards on the ground and through the air and score plenty of points.

Prediction Packers 31 Seattle 20 (Seahawks 6-3)
Week 11 v Cardinals
I really think Seattle matches up better against them than any other decent team in the NFL. The Seattle defense can concentrate on containing DeAndre Hopkins, and in my option will be able to.
And the Cardinals interior defensive line is the worst in the NFL, so in addition to what Wilson and his receivers can do, they will be able to run wild on the ground.

Prediction Seattle 30 Cardinals 17 (Seahawks 7-3)
Week 12 at Washington
The Football Team were flattered by their 2020 record due to the appalling divisional opponents they came up against post the Dak Prescott injury derailing the Cowboys season. They do have a decent defense and a good running game though which along with the home advantage will likely make this a close game.
If the Seattle D can contain the WFT running game, and thus win the time of possession battle then Russell Wilson and co will do enough to win this one.

Week 13 v San Francisco
I went through this match-up in week 4, so the only change here is the venue. With home advantage, the 12th Man can get the ‘Hawks home in this one.
