Bobby Wagner could have an important season

Week 16 v Chicago

Let’s give some love to a big guy now. Poona Ford has amassed 105 career tackles in his three seasons at roughly 3 per game. So sometime around this game, he could reach 150 tackles.

Happy Christmas, Poona! Poona turns just 26 in November and there are many more victims to come to one of the best nose tackles in the game.

Week 17 v Detroit

And just one more time, another potential landmark for Bobby Wagner. Having touted his tackling prowess twice so far, this one is all his own. His third potential landmark is for solo tackles, of which he has 818 to date.

He averages 5.5 per game throughout his career, so this would seem to be the most likely game for him to hit 900. Again, I cannot say enough about what an achievement this is, but to bring 900 NFL players to the ground all on your own is just mind-blowing.

Week 18 at Arizona

Time for another shout-out to Tyler Lockett. Lockett enters the 2021 season with 42 career touchdowns, 38 receiving, 2 rushing and 2 as a kick returner. With twenty-eight of these coming in the last three seasons, he may hit 50 touchdowns before the final game of the regular season. But whenever you get to 50 Tyler, we salute you.

Finally, this player will need to roll back the years and have a vintage campaign to give himself a shot at his own individual milestones and will almost certainly need the Seahawks to make the playoffs for him to do it.

Carlos Dunlap has 88 career sacks to his name to date. Yes, 83 of them came as a Bengal, but let’s not let that fail to appreciate his efforts.

He has only hit double figures once in his career with 14 sacks in 2015, so this is a big ask and is more likely to be achieved in the 2022 season, but it would great to see him join only 35 others that have done so since sack stats were first collated in 1982 to get to the 100 sack milestone.

Super Bowl

One final one, that is a Seahawk franchise landmark rather than an individual one. The Seahawks franchise currently has 384 wins on the board, so it is entirely possible that with a 13 win season and three playoff victories a Super Bowl victory would also be the 400th win as a franchise.

How we would all love that to come to pass if they could just win sixteen regular season games and do it the easy way!
