The Seahawks put out their final injury report for week one and will be fully healthy versus the Colts. Indy isn’t quite as lucky. Things will change through the season, of course, but it’s also not every season that Seattle starts off with everyone on the active 53-man roster ready to play.

The Colts on the other hand will be without two keys players and Russell Wilson should be able to take advantage of at least one of the absences. Indy will have Carson Wentz available on Sunday and this is a bit surprising considering a month ago it looked like he might miss several weeks to start the season with a foot injury.

Seattle is favored on Sunday and will have no injury excuses (at least no injuries before the game) for a loss. Let’s hope Seattle stays just as healthy during the game.

Seahawks vs. Colts injury reports

Seahawks

Again, no Seattle players had an injury designation on Friday. Duane Brown and Gabe Jackson did not participate in Friday’s practice but they were simply getting veteran rest and are not injured.

It will be interesting to see which seven players Seattle holds out as inactive, especially at running back, but at least Pete Carroll has a full complement of players to choose from on who to keep out.

Colts

The Colts will be without offseason acquisition and very good left tackle Eric Fisher. Julien Davenport will start in his place. Davenport played well in preseason but isn’t expected to be as good as Fisher is.

Maybe more importantly is that cornerback Xavier Rhodes will miss the game with a calf injury. Rhodes is Indianapolis’s best CB and Wilson, D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett need to make sure Rhodes’s absence is felt. Wilson could have a huge day even if the Seahawks do want to run the ball more this season overall.
