The Seahawks are favorites heading into week two versus the Titans. But Seattle should have concerns going up against Tennessee, of course, as they should about any NFL team. But the Titans offer special challenges, namely, Derrick Henry is a beast of a running back and can win the game mostly on his own.

Seattle also needs to keep the momentum going on offense as they were really good in the first half in week one. The concern is that Seattle wasn’t nearly as good in the second half. Maybe Seattle tried to shorten the game a bit but this offense should be different and more consistent throughout the entire game.

So while certain position groups, like the secondary and the interior of the defensive line, need to be really good for the Seahawks to win in week two, this game could come down to how well some specific players do as well.

Three Seahawks starters 12s should worry about versus the Titans

Worry number three: Bryan Mone

Mone got better and better in week one against the Colts. One of the issues heading into week 2 is he has an elbow issue and has been limited in practice. Seattle has one stud on the interior of the defensive line and that is Poona Ford. Ford should be solid against anyone the Seahawks are playing but he needs help and he is slightly banged up himself.

Mone showed some good ability in pressuring the quarterback in week one as well, absolutely pancaking Colts quarterback Carson Wentz on one play in the second half. But Mone is a true run stopper and the key to beating the Titans offense is limiting Derrick Henry and Mone is one of the most important aspects of Seattle’s defense for doing that. If Mone plays well and Henry is somewhat limited, Seattle will win. If Mone doesn’t, that could change the outcome.
