The Seahawks have been here before

While many want Ken Norton Jr fired, I want everyone to pump the brakes. The defense has been horrendous, I get it. Keep in mind that Seattle found themselves in familiar territory last year. To Norton’s credit, he was able to rally his defenders around him and turn things around on the defensive side of the ball. In 2018, the Seahawks also were 1-2 after three weeks of play. They finished the season 10-6.

Large in part due to leadership. Say what you want about Pete Carroll, but he is a master motivator. He knows how to rally his team around his message and turn things around before it’s too late. There is no other quarterback I would rather have than Russell Wilson in this type of situation. He isn’t going to take shots at the media or play the blame game. He is going to address the problem, put his head down and go to work.

Adversity is temporary. Everything the Seahawks want to accomplish is still ahead of them. They have a golden opportunity to bounce back in Week 4 against San Francisco. The NFC West will be won within the division. The best way to silence the noise is to bounce back on the road and win their first divisional game of the season.

Next. Which is worse? The Seahawks offense or defense?. dark

The Seahawks have hit an unexpected bump in the road. The reality is if a team is defeated after losing two games in a row, then they weren’t really winners to begin with. Bad losses happen. Good teams struggle early on. This is the ultimate cliche, but it isn’t how you start, it’s how you finish. This Seattle team still has the potential and the ability to write their own story. The best is ahead.
