Marlon Mack

The Seahawks could use a healthy running back to give the Seahawks another weapon out of the backfield and a consistent threat to run the ball. Marlon Mack is not being used much by the Colts this season because Nyheim Hines and Jonathan Taylor are receiving the bulk of the carries and passing targets.

In his career, Mack has run for 2,484 yards in 46 games. He averages 4.4 yards per carry, and has 20 career touchdowns. With Chris Carson sidelined with injury, Alex Collins, and Rashaad Penny both playing through injury, Mack would give the Seahawks stability at the position.

Mack is also not just a solid runner, but he can also be used in the passing game. For his career, Mack has 57 receptions, for 448 yards, and 2 touchdowns. He could be available at the trade deadline because his contract is up at the end of the season.

This would appear to be a trade where the Seahawks could send a late-round pick and cash considerations or a player-for-player swap to pull off this trade. With both teams struggling, but still possibly in contention for a playoff spot, a deal would be predicated on the Colts not needing a third running back.
