The Seahawks need a win versus the Jaguars to keep hope alive for 2021. Jacksonville isn’t going anywhere this year but are building towards the future. At least, they hope they are. The odd thing is a loss to the Jags this week might lead Seattle to strip the team down in a re-tool for 2022 and beyond.

Basically, this game is a must-win for Seattle not only this year but potentially what the future of the franchise looks like.

Here is all you know to know when your Seattle Seahawks play the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Seahawks vs. Jaguars: Odds, preview and how to watch

Seahawks Injury Report vs Jaguars week 8

The following Seattle players have been ruled out for today’s game against the Jaguars:

Safety Marquise Blair (who seems to, unfortunately, get injured quite a bit) will miss this game and likely several others as he had knee surgery on Wednesday. Blair will not play again this season which means Ugo Amadi will once again be Seattle’s full-time nickel corner. And that is OK because Amadi is pretty decent. The problem at cornerback hasn’t been on the inside but on the outside.

Anyway, Blair will be placed on Injured Reserve at some point soon and not play again in 2021.

Seattle listed as questionable right guard Damien Lewis (shoulder) and running back Alex Collins (groin). Both are expected to play Sunday, though. Left tackle Duane Brown is listed as questionable with an illness but has been sick for three days so that is a concern.

The Jaguars only have a few players listed on the injury report but none of them are quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Jacksonville only has a handful of good players.
