Kyler Murray and D’Wayne Eskridge will have good games

Number 2: Kyler Murray plays and throws for 350 yards and 3 touchdowns

Kyler Murray has been iffy all week as he has been dealing with an injury. Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury hinted early in the week that maybe the Cardinals would want to keep Murray out another week as Arizona has a bye-week in week 12 and then get Murray back for the stretch run in week 13.

But now Murray has practiced in limited fashion every day this week and is a game-time decision. My guess is that Murray plays and does well. He won’t be 100 percent with his ankle injury but the Seahawks still don’t get consistent pressure on quarterbacks. I think Murray hits a lot of receivers on crossing patterns and hits a couple deep.

Number 3: D’Wayne Eskridge has 5 catches for 90 yards

Seattle is clearly still trying to figure out what to do with their second round choice from the 2021 NFL draft. You think they would have known that when they chose him but that does not appear to be the case. As my co-host of the 12th Man Rising podcast said this week on the show, “When Seattle puts Eskridge in the game, the defense has to know a jet sweep is coming.”

So far in his rookie season, Eskridge has played 2 games, has 2 receptions (both jet sweeps!) and has a total of 2 yards receiving. But this week, for no real reason at all, I am guessing Seattle uses Eskridge for what he is intended to do: Catch passes downfield. Eskridge will have two catches of 25-plus yards and finish with 90.
