What will Russ do? and the final score

Number 2: Russell Wilson gets sacked three times and throws 2 interceptions

I have no faith in the Seahawks offensive line. It was supposed to be better but it is worse. One reason it is worse is Duane Brown is having the worst season of his career (he has already allowed an astounding 7 sacks – the last time he did that was in 2009 and that was for the entire season and that was Brown’s second season in the NFL). Plus, Russell Wilson still holds on to the ball too long.

Wilson is going to get hit a lot against the Cardinals. In every game against the Cardinals since week 15 of the 2016 season, Wilson has been sacked at least twice. But he has been sacked 3 times or more in seven of those nine games against Arizona.

Wilson has also thrown for 240 yards or less in seven of the last eight games against the Cardinals. Arizona has three levels of good defense and they will hound Wilson when he does drop back to throw and force him into 2 interceptions.

Number 5: The Seahawks score just 10 points and lose in a blowout

Yes, Seattle is going to run more but they will also start to fall further and further behind in the second half and Wilson will be forced to throw. He will get hit a bunch and picked off. Seattle’s offense simply isn’t well-planned or well-called under offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. At least, not yet.

The Seahawks will keep the game somewhat close by halftime but by the fourth quarter will be down by 14 points and lose by 17 (27-10) in a game that feels more like a 40 point difference.
