The Seattle Seahawks were able to win their first game against the Niners, but both teams appear to be in a different place right now.

Among several reasons Week 13 might go differently than when Seattle won in Week 4, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is healthy and Seattle’s offense is struggling. Let’s be honest, Seattle’s offense, including Russell Wilson, has been terrible for many weeks now.

Here are three reasons Seahawks fans should be concerned against the Niners.

3 worries for the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13

1. Jimmy Garoppolo is healthy

The last time the Seahawks faced the Niners, their quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo had to leave the game at halftime with an injury. Rookie quarterback Trey Lance did not perform well in his absence and failed to lead the Niners on a scoring drive until after the Seahawks had taken control of the game with a 21-7 lead late in the third quarter.

Garoppolo has been on a roll as of late completing 48 of 67 passes (71.6 percent completion rate) for 588 yards, 5 touchdowns and 1 interception in his last three games, leading to three straight Niners wins.

2. The Seahawks offensive woes

The Seahawks have really struggled to score points in each of their last three games since Russell Wilson’s return. Raising questions about whether Wilson is healthy and if he is comfortable with Shane Waldron’s offensive scheme.

Since Chris Carson’s injury, Seattle has failed to find a consistent ground game and are now turning to veteran running back Adrian Peterson to fill the void at the position. With the offense out of balance and out of sync, the Seahawks are hoping Peterson provides a spark the offense has lacked since week six when running back Alex Collins rushed for 101 yards.

3. Both teams are trending in opposite directions

The Niners unlike the Seahawks have won each of their last three games, whereas the Seahawks have lost each of their last three games averaging just 9.3 points per game on offense. The Seahawks playoff hopes are likely over, so there will probably be little motivation for this team to play for the rest of the season, but pride.

San Francisco has everything to play for with their playoff hopes much alive with six games left to play this season. They currently sit in the sixth spot in the playoffs holding a one-game lead over Washington, Atlanta, and Minnesota.

With their recent struggles, particularly on offense, Seattle comes into this game in a much worse place than they did in week four against the Niners.
