The Seattle Seahawks play their nemesis, the Los Angeles Rams, in Week 15 of the 2021 season. Here is all you need to know about the game.

Let’s say first, though, that there is a lot of unknown about the game due to a combined 27 people being on the teams’ COVID lists. Los Angeles is getting a little healthier while Seattle is not.

Seattle needs a victory to keep its diminishing playoff hopes alive but Seattle seems to always struggle against the Rams. In fact, Seattle is 2-7 in its last nine games versus Los Angeles. All-time the Seahawks lead the series 25-21.

The Rams are 20th in points allowed at 22.5 while Seattle is fourth (seriously!) at 20.2. Seattle is 20th in yards-allowed-per-play, though, at 5.5 per while the Rams are fifth at 5.2. Los Angeles is fourth in points-scored-per-game with 28.2 while the Seahawks are 19th at 20.9.

Seahawks Injury Report vs. Rams Week 15

This is the strangest week ever for players who will miss a Seattle game. No players on either team have a designation for being injured. That said, lots of players will have to sit out Week 15 due to COVID complications. The NFL should have canceled the game prior to Sunday but then realized money outweighs health and decided to postpone the game to Tuesday.

Both teams have until 1 pm PT to finalize rosters for the game. The current players on the COVID-19/reserve list are Tyler Lockett, Alex Collins, Brandon Shell, Travis Homer, D.J. Reed, Kerry Hyder, Jr. and practice squad players Mike Jackson and Pier-Olivier Lestage. Linebacker coach John Glenn is also on the list. Bryan Mone was added to the list on Monday.

The Rams have 18 players on their list including several starters. We won’t really know who is playing until closer to game time.
