The Seattle Seahawks need to rebuild their roster a bit to make 2022 better than 2021. The draft needs to be mostly good choices to make beyond 2022 better but Seattle still has Russell Wilson and young defensive players like Jordyn Brooks and Darrell Taylor so the team isn’t that far off from getting back to the playoffs.

One thing that the Seahawks could do to immediately improve is to take some free agents from the two Super Bowl LVI teams. Cincinnati’s top players, especially offensively, are too young to even make it to free agency yet. But there are a couple of key defensive players that Seattle could sign to help out new defensive coordinator Clint Hurtt.

Los Angeles has a slightly older roster but some premium players are free agents who would definitely help Seattle next year. One player I don’t have on the following list is Odell Beckham, Jr., but adding Beckham, Jr. to D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett would make for a very happy Russell Wilson.

Free agents-to-be to watch for Seahawks fans in Super Bowl LVI

There are several reasons to watch the Super Bowl, of course. You might want to see the Rams lose. Or the Bengals win. Or both teams tie. (Yes, I realized I didn’t say the “Bengals lose” there because if you want them to lose I might ask why you are such a sadist?)

But one reason for 12s to watch is to possibly see future Seahawks on the field. Changes will be made to every team this offseason and some players in Super Bowl LVI might be playing home games in Seattle in 2022.
