C Ben Jones

Another center the Seattle Seahawks have to look into signing is center Ben Jones of the Tennessee Titans. If Seattle find themselves striking out on signing center Ryan Jensen or his asking price is just too steep, Ben Jones should be on the Seahawks’ radar as another option for the center position.

Although signing a center will not come in cheap, Seahawks cannot sit idly by and not try to improve what kept them from reaching the playoffs last season. With limited draft capital this year, it will be challenging for Seattle to try to improve their offensive line through the draft.

Combine this with multiple positions the team must address, Seahawks must somehow find a way to try to use some of the salary cap space they have to improve the offensive line, especially the center position.

Next. 3 trades that would make the Seahawks defensive line better. dark

In 2021, Ben Jones played 1,160 offensive snaps, with 5 penalties and only 1 sack allowed. Those numbers are almost identical to Ryan Jensen, numbers the Seahawks must not neglect. Jones is 2 years older than Jensen though, so that will factor in on how much Jones will command in the open market compared to Jensen. Landing a strong center for next season like Jones will not only vastly improve the Seattle offense but will also strengthen the game scheme of the Seahawks.
