The Seattle Seahawks have filled numerous holes in free agency. They kept their promise and re-signed many of their own players.

Players like safety Quandre Diggs, running back Rashaad Penny, tight end Will Dissly, defensive tackle Al Woods, guard Phil Haynes, and cornerback Sidney Jones were all re-signed. They also spent some money to fill holes with, in my opinion, perfect scheme fits. Players like edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu (25-year-old OLB), Austin Blythe (center), and Artie Burns (a speedy cornerback) all show promise.

Follow that up with the players acquired in the Russell Wilson trade in addition to the draft capital. The team has a making of an upcoming roster. Finally, there feels like there is some fresh life on the roster. However, they shouldn’t be done.

A dream mock draft for the Seattle Seahawks post-free agency.

The 2022 NFL draft is perfectly suited to further build the roster. It has a ton of depth at key positions. There is going to be mid-round potential all over the place.

The Seahawks need to be aggressive in the draft. Even if that means trading up (or down). There are so many scheme fits that have the ability to either start right away or be key complementary pieces.

Over the next handful of slides, I am going to outline what the Seattle Seahawks perfect mock draft could look like. This mock will help fill the remaining holes, add potential at key positions, and compliments what is already established with free agency slowing down.
