Pick 152: Zamir White, RB

Zamir White has the size (6’0″ and 215lbs) that the Seahawks covet. He also has the bruising between the tackles style that the Seahawks need to function.

However, he surprised many with his straight-line speed. (4.40-second 40-yard dash). This test isn’t as important as the 10-yard split but it does show there is breakaway ability.

White’s 10-yard split was also superb at 1.5 seconds. This shows he builds speed incredibly fast (91st percentile amongst other RBs). Pairing White with a pass-catching back or an outside back would make for a fearsome 1-2 punch.

Penny and Whites skills complement one another superbly.

Pick 153: Kellen Diesch, OT

Kellen Diesch is the ultimate project tackle. He has the size, athleticism, and God-given gifts to be special. He simply is very raw in his hand placement, footwork, and play recognition.

He is a perfect player to select and sit behind Duane Brown (who needs to be re-signed) for a year. Learn how to be a pro and get the technical side of the equation down.

  • Height: 6’7″
  • Weight: 303 lbs
  • 10-yard split: 1.70 seconds (93rd percentile)
  • 40-yard dash: 4.89 seconds (97th percentile)
  • 20-yard shuttle: 4.43 seconds (95th percentile)
  • Broad jump: 110″ (86th percentile)
  • Vertical jump: 32″ (91st percentile)

You can’t teach speed and explosiveness. You can teach technical refinement. Take a gamble on a physically gifted player and see if you can unlock a hidden gem’s potential. At this point in the draft, this is about as good as you can get.

Pick 229: Max Borghi, RB

Borghi is an explosive player. He bursts through the line of scrimmage full speed and never lets up. He is incredibly agile and displays great vision. However, he is not your burner. He is more of a quick guy than a fast one.

More than anything else, he is a phenomenal 3rd down pass-catching running back. Get the ball in his hands and watch him make a play. His ball protection is elite.

College stats:

  • Rushing attempts: 364
  • Yards: 2,158
  • Average per attempt: 5.8 per
  • Receptions: 156
  • Yards: 3,292
  • Touchdowns: 41

Next. 3 regrets Seahawks will have from 2022 free agency. dark

He may not be an every down player. However, he can be a very impactful one. I would also be very interested in seeing him with returning duties.
