Will Smith didn’t hesitate in his decision to slap Chris Rock at the Oscars. In 2022, some Seattle Seahawks need to borrow some of that aggression and help the team be better.

I want to note I am not saying what Smith did was right or wrong but he showed aggression and football is all about aggression and this article is about football.

Say what you will about, well…Will, but it took him maybe 15 seconds to get up from his seat, walk to the stage and shockingly slap Rock after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s lack of hair (which isn’t her fault). Will Smith might have thought (or not thought completely, depending on how you see things) about what to do for a second before he reacted, but once he did react it was done with force.

Seattle Seahawks that need to be far more aggressive in 2022

Football is about force. And when Seattle was really good in the 2010s, especially the first half of the decade, the Seahawks defense was aggressive and dictated what an opposing offense could do. Offensively, Marshawn Lynch wasn’t going to be intimidated and imposed his will on opposing defenses.

Seattle needs to get back to playing with the proverbial chips on their shoulders starting in 2022 and stay with this renewed attitude for years afterward. Seattle needs to prove itself again that it is a team that no one wants to play.

Here are three parts of the Seahawks that need to have Will Smith and Legion of Boom mentality.
