Less than a week before the 2022 NFL Rookie Draft, the Seattle Seahawks find themselves in a situation they have not been since 2010.

A unique draft for the team as not only do they hold a 9th overall pick but also the Seahawks do not have a franchise quarterback after trading Russell Wilson to the Broncos earlier this year.

It’s anybody’s guess on what Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and GM John Schneider will do with their picks this year, and having a top 10 pick in this year’s draft presents the team with endless possibilities.

It has been an ongoing debate amongst Seattle faithful on what the team will do with their 1st round pick. Should the Seahawks get a QB at 9th? Move up or move down on the draft?

A three-round mock draft where the Seahawks improve the offensive line

There are multiple positional needs the Seahawks must address and they will surely use this draft to fill those voids. Keeping in mind what the team needs, and the draft only a few days away, this is the best time for us to predict what the Seahawks will do on draft day.

For my 3 round Seahawks mock draft I used Pro Football Focus Mock Draft simulator. Last Thursday’s Seahawks pre-draft press conference, GM John Schneider said, “We may pick at nine. We may not.” Basing my mock draft with that quote, and Seahawks history of trading picks, I will go ahead and say they will trade that pick.
