Second round

Bresee will probably be gone before the second round if he shows at Clemson in 2022 that he is over the torn ACL he suffered last year. But Pro Football Network’s simulator had him still available in round 2 so I took him. Bresee is the impactful player Seattle needs on the interior of the defensive line.

Not only is he 6’5″ and 300-pound huge but he is quick and athletic. Bresee would supply the interior pressure on QBs that Seattle doesn’t really have currently. Poona Ford is a great run-stopper but Bresee is the entire package. He has 5.5 sacks in 16 games in college and 9.5 tackles for loss.

In the 2022 draft, Seattle hopefully found its long-term starting offensive tackles. Damien Lewis should be solid at guard for a while (he’s only entering his third year) so Seattle just needs to find long-term answers at right guard and center and they could be set for the next 5 to 7 seasons.

Gall transferred from Buffalo to Baylor in 2021 and Baylor made him a center. Last year, Gall had the sixth-best win rate among all FBS centers, per Pro Football Focus. Gall isn’t small either. He is 6’3″ and 300 pounds. He could be the anchor the Seahawks have been searching for.
