Ron Burgundy love the Seahawks

Will Ferrell clearly has friends in high places. And no, we’re not talking about up at the North Pole or down at Talladega. Ferrel became a fan of Pete Carroll so long ago, that our coach’s hair was still blonde; well, kinda. That was back in the Stone Age when Pete coached at USC. When Carroll moved on to the Seahawks, Ferrell came along for the ride.

You might even say they were a package deal, as Ferrell apparently decided to not only be a 12, but an actual member of the Hawks. Well, he joined the Seahawks for a team meeting, and that’s close enough. When Greg Olson joined the Seahawks for the 2020 season, Carroll introduced him in a virtual team meeting.

Except it wasn’t quite Greg Olsen who met the team. Surely no one will ever forget 90-Go-Flywheel-Kanye-Starburst. The Hawks may have been just as well off if they’d actually added Ferrell instead of Olsen.

That brings us to the man generally acknowledged to be the superfan of superfans, the inimitable Rainn Wilson. As you can see below, Wilson has at least one thing in common with his most famous character, Dwight K. Schrute. He is absolutely fearless. That can be clearly seen here as he represents the Seahawks in a meeting among the Sasquatch.
