Last night the NFL released their 2022 regular season schedule for all thirty-two franchises. We had known since the end of the regular season who the Seattle Seahawks would be playing during the season, but not when…until now. In what is shaping up to be a pivotal season for the Seahawks franchise, this schedule sure doesn’t disappoint.

From Tom Brady in Germany to Patrick Mahomes in Arrowhead, this schedule is a wild mix of some of the very best this league has to offer, and some of the worst. After finishing in last place in the NFC West in 2021, the Hawks earned the right to play the other worst teams in the NFC.

On top of that benefit, they are going to play all the NFC South teams. Other than super bowl contenders I’m Tampa Bay, that’s one of the worst divisions in football.

That’s about where most of the good news ends, as we are reminded we play in the brutal NFC West, home to the top two teams in the NFC last year, including the Super Bowl champions LA Rams. If the NFC West isn’t the best division in football, then the AFC West is, which happens to be the division Seattle will have to face this season.

Speaking of the AFC West, there’s a certain quarterback that will be coming back home very early in the season in what will likely be the biggest game of the season for Seattle.

It’s May, and there are still dozens of impact free agents available to be signed, trades to happen, and position battles to be won. We’re a long way away from September 8th, but that’s not gonna stop me from making some predictions on how this season will go.
