Seahawks 2022 game-by-game predictions post-schedule release
Weeks 14 through 16
Week 14 – home versus the Carolina Panthers, December 11th at 1:25 pm PT
I spoke earlier about the Atlanta Falcons having one of the worst rosters in the NFL. Their main challenger to that claim could come from their division rival, the Carolina Panthers. This Panthers squad definitely has the look of a team trying to get one of the top young prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft.
With talent and depth lacking at all the main positions, I believe this game will be a reminder to fans of how bad things can be when you try to be bad on purpose. In the game, the Seahawks put together one of their most impressive wins of the season, as the Panthers continue their path to the number one pick, 41-10.
Record 6-7
Week 15 – home versus the San Francisco 49ers, December 15th on Thursday Night Football
Seattle’s Thursday Night Football game this year is a good one, facing their arch-rival 49ers. A beat down in week 2, Seattle turn the tables on the eventual playoff-bound 49ers, coming from behind after being down by 10 in the 4th quarter, 24-23. Jimmy Garoppolo continues to lead the San Francisco offense, and the 49ers continue to be a bridesmaid and never a bride in the postseason.
Record 7-7
Week 16 – at the Kansas City Chiefs, December 24th at 10 am PT
After the Thursday night win, the Seahawks don’t get the full mini bye that most teams get, traveling to Kansas City for a Saturday game on the road. With Mahomes and the Chiefs fighting for their playoff lives, they make just enough plays as Seattle gives up a late lead on the road, losing 27-23.
Record 7-8
