January

Week 17- home vs. the New York Jets, January 1st at 1:05 pm PT

Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh returns to Seattle in his second year coaching the Jets. While the Jets are looking much more competitive and respectable than in years past, Seattle survives a late rally from the improved quarterback play of Zach Wilson. Coby Bryant getting his first career pick-six to seal the deal late. Top running backs from the draft, Ken Walker outduels Breece Hall and Seattle wins, 27-13.

Record 8-8

Week 18 – home versus the LA Rams, January 7th or 8th (could flex)

The Seahawks enter the season finale at a surprising record of 8-8, and with a win would improbably clinch the 7th and final seed in the NFC playoffs. The LA Rams enter the game13-3 and are looking to lock up the number 1 seed in the NFC playoffs over Tampa Bay with a win in Seattle. The game gets flexed to Sunday Night Football, and boy is it a doozy.

Seattle takes a 21-7 lead at the half, before the Rams make an incredible comeback, kicking a game-winning field goal in overtime to eliminate the Seahawks 24-21. Matt Stafford’s heroics lock up his first-ever MVP award.

2022 Final Record Prediction: 8-9

Next. The 4 must-see Seahawks games of 2022. dark

I believe this Seattle Seahawks team is being overlooked. I think there’s far too much talent on the roster and too much of a positive culture to “tank” or lose twelve or thirteen games. There will be some fun moments, and some rough ones, but most importantly we will see growth and a chance for a return to glory much faster than we may have imagined.
