Special teams

Kicker – Justin Myers

Unless the Seahawks surprise everyone and releases Myers then he is going to be the kicker and is entering the last year of his current deal. But Myers is also due to make $5 million in 2021 but is only guaranteed $1 million so Seattle could release him and save $4 million.

Punter – Michael Dickson

Dickson is entering year five of what will probably be 13 years or more in Seattle. He’s good and will continue to help Seattle win football games for along time.

Long snapper – Tyler Ott

Ott is solid which is the best thing that can be said of a long snapper. He is 30 years old and could be in Seattle for five more years.

Kick and punt returner – Bo Melton

I think Melton finds his way into playing offensively for the Seahawks too. He has some raw skills that should one day make him a decent third option. But his offense at Rutgers didn’t set him up for immediate success as a receiver in the NFL.

That said, I think Melton immediately fills the role of kick and punt returner for Seattle and does some exciting things, especially with kick returns. He has the speed and quickness to make tacklers miss and smart enough to not force a return that isn’t there.
