Seahawks news for Tuesday: Training camp dates released!
By Lee Vowell
In Seattle Seahawks news for your Tuesday, 12s now officially know when the team will hold training camp. And also when you can visit.
Isn’t it hard to believe we are just a bit over two months away from Week 1 of the 2022 season? Between now and then there will be a lot learned about who is going to make an impact on the Seahawks season.
Who is going to be the starting quarterback? Which players will start at both offensive tackle spots? Who will be the starting cornerbacks? All this will be learned during training camp.
Seahawks news: Training camp dates and when 12s can go watch practice!
Seattle’s training camp officially starts on July 26 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, Washington. But 12s can start showing up on the 27th to watch practice. You can also go on the 28th if you want, too.
The other dates 12s can watch practice are July 30th, August 1st through the 3rd, August 5th through the 7th, August 9th and 10th, August 16th and August 21st. August 6th will actually be away from the VMAC and will be held at Lumen Field.
If you are wanting to go see the Seahawks go through drills, you have to register on Seahawks.com and hope for the best. Plus, be ready to do it quickly because the date and time to start registering is Wednesday, June 29th at 10 am PT. Registration is on a first-come and first-serve basis.
This should be one of the more interesting training camps in some time as the Seahawks do need to find answers to all of the questions above. Will it be Drew Lock or Geno Smith at QB? Jake Curhan or Abe Lucas at right tackle? One of a plethora of starting CBs?
12s will be able to see all this play out in front of their eyes beginning July 27th. Let’s just hope whoever Pete Carroll and his staff should to start are capable of exceeding expectations in 2022.
