Receiver DK Metcalf has one year left on his rookie contract with the Seattle Seahawks. Where might he end up next season?

Hopefully, that is with the Seahawks and hopefully, there is no drama entering the 2022 season as far as if Metcalf is going to be around after this year or not. But there is no guarantee to this. Metcalf already held out of mandatory minicamp and if he holds out at the start of training camp there will be trouble.

So if Metcalf does leave Seattle, and this could make sense as Seattle already has Tyler Lockett on the payroll through 2025 and is going to cost a lot of money as well and paying two receivers so much money doesn’t completely make sense, then where does Metcalf go? Maybe one of these three places.

Seahawks losing DK Metcalf to the Tennessee Titans?

Metcalf’s former teammate (and one with the same agent, Tory Dandy) AJ Brown got tired of Tennessee being weird about not paying him. Brown voiced his displeasure and the Titans sent him packing in a trade. But this doesn’t mean Tennessee is against signing a receiver to a high-priced deal. They just didn’t want one they thought was being disrespectful towards the team.

Plus, money has a way of fixing a lot of uncomfortableness. Tennessee didn’t want to pay Brown but they might want to pay Metcalf. Running back Derrick Henry is great, of course, but he probably has a limited window of being great because he takes a lot of hits and running backs have a short shelf-life. Adding Metcalf helps Henry quite a bit.
