Seahawks wide receivers (6): DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Dee Eskridge, Freddie Swain, Bo Melton, Marquise Goodwin

The top two are clearly set and hopefully that way for many seasons to come. Lockett and Metcalf are great. Plus, Metcalf is only 24 years old so he should be very productive for the next 6 seasons at least, and there is a good chance that will happen in Seattle now that he has signed an extension. Lockett is signed for several more years. The only question is whether he can still be good while he is nearing his mid-30s.

So, throwing out Metcalf and Lockett, we are left with who is going to be WR3? Or WR4? Or who is even going to make the team? We can assume Eskridge will as he will only be entering his second year in the NFL. He was injured for a lot of his rookie season so what we saw from him in 2021 is probably not what we should expect going forward.

Still, how good can he be? Maybe great or maybe a draft bust. And Swain seems to make big plays from time to time but then disappears for several games.

Seahawks tight ends (3): Noah Fant, Will Dissly, Colby Parkinson

This hopefully will be the season that Seattle gets their tight ends involved more, especially early in the year. Russell Wilson seemed to miss seeing open tight ends over the middle many times. It is unclear what the issue might have been with that.

But Dissly catches almost everything thrown his way (79.2 percent catch rate when targeted in his career). Fant can be special when used as a receiver. He has size and speed and looks a bit like a young Jimmy Graham-lite. Parkinson just hasn’t been targeted enough in his career to see how good he can be.
