The Seahawks kickoff their 2022 preseason with a road game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Here is all you need to know about the game.

One of the biggest things to watch for in preseason game 1 is the quarterback battles for both teams. The Seahawks have veterans Drew Lock and Geno Smith battling it out for QB1 while the Steelers have three quarterbacks trying to start, including rookie Kenny Pickett.

Another player to watch for 12s is rookie cornerback Tariq Woolen who looked way ahead of schedule in the mock game last week. But let’s see how he does against players in a different uniform than his.

Another rookie CB, Coby Bryant, is also keeping an eye on. As Seattle’s CB unit is really diminished due to injuries, both rookies could see plenty of playing time on Saturday.

Still, Seattle will be without Rashaad Penny (groin), Jordyn Brooks (hamstring), Artie Burns (groin), Sidney Jones (concussion), L.J. Collier (elbow), Marquise Goodwin (hamstring) and others who are actually ailing.
