Tracking the QBs Seahawks should take in the 2023 NFL draft: Week 4
Seahawks QB targets Week 4: Numbers 3 through 1
Number 3: Bryce Young
Bryce Young played really well against Vanderbilt, in a 55-3 demolition over the Commodores. While the challenge wasn’t there, Young made all the plays and did a better job of taking care of the football.
The competition is about to pick up, as Young and the Tide will roll into Arkansas and Tennessee over the next three weeks. Should be excellent games for Seahawks fans to drool over some potential franchise QBs.
NFL Comp: Mix of Tyler Huntley and Kyler Murray
Number 2: Will Levis
Levis played his best game of the year in a home win over a very game Northern Illinois squad. Levis threw for over 300 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 31-23 win.
This year has been a little odd for Levis. His stats have been good, not great, but his supporting cast has not been at their best. He’s made enough big plays, and the defense has been really good. We will see how far Levis has come when the Wildcats take on Tennessee and Georgia in the next few months.
NFL Comp: B+ version of Josh Allen
Number 1: C.J. Stroud
Stroud continues to have a stranglehold on the top spot in our rankings. Stroud once again showed out in a dominating 52-21 victory at home against Wisconsin. Stroud was in complete control of the offense, throwing for 5 touchdowns.
Stroud will have his doubters due to the talent around him and the history of OSU quarterbacks. I get it, but you can’t ignore his talents and his ability to put the ball wherever he wants. He’s the most accurate QB I’ve seen this season, and he should be the 1st QB taken in this year’s NFL draft.
NFL Comp: Joe Burrow
