Week 6 of the college football season is in the books and it would be interesting to know which quarterbacks the Seahawks had their eyes on.

We continue to see the warning signs in some of the top quarterback prospects, while a couple of others have their stock rising rapidly by the week. (Or maybe we should be looking ahead to the 2024 class the way Geno Smith is playing the Seahawks so far this year.)

Tiers are beginning to take a more clear shape, with one quarterback clearly above all in the Heisman race. How does it impact our QB rankings in Week 6?

Top 10 quarterbacks the Seahawks should look to choose in the 2023 NFL draft: Week 6

Number 10: Dillon Gabriel, Oklahoma

NFL Comp: Tua Tagovailoa with a Russell Wilson potential

Saturday was likely the lowest the Oklahoma program has been in nearly 25 years. A 49-0 embarrassment at the hand of their arch-rival Texas Longhorns left the Sooners in a state of shock in disbelief. In a matter of three weeks, they’ve gone from top 5 to one of the worst-looking teams in the country. Dillon Gabriel’s concussion is only a partial part of the problem, but a problem nonetheless. With him sitting out the Red River Showdown, it’s expected we’ll see him next week against Kansas.

Number 9: KJ Jefferson, Arkansas

NFL Comp: Jacoby Brissett

Another prospect is that we are high on who didn’t play this week, KJ Jefferson had to watch his Hogs get destroyed in the air by Mississippi State 40-17. While we can’t confirm what his injury was, it is believed to be a concussion. With Jefferson’s physicality and style of play, this is definitely something to consider going forward.
