Seahawks 2023 QB targets Week 6: Numbers 2 and 1

Number 2: Will Levis, Kentucky

NFL Comp: B+ version of Josh Allen

Similar to Anthony Richardson, Levis has been doomed by his team from reaching his true potential at the collegiate level. The offensive line that Kentucky has put in front of Levis is an absolute joke. Levis didn’t play against South Carolina on Saturday as he had previously injured his left foot. The most important thing for Levis is to stay safe and healthy.

The NFL knows Levis is the most impressive-looking prospect in this class. If he had more help around him, he probably is in more of a debate for the top overall pick.

Number 1: CJ Stroud, Ohio State

NFL Comp: Joe Burrow

Stroud continues to separate himself from all the other college quarterbacks in terms of stats and potential trophies. On the road against Michigan State, Stroud lit the Spartans up for 361 yards and 6 touchdowns in a 49-20 victory.

Stroud now has 24 touchdowns in 6 games and is looking like the heavy favorite for the Heisman trophy. His mastery of Ryan Day’s offense, his plus-plus accuracy, and his deep ball improvements this season have him in a really strong position to be the top QB taken in the draft.

Considering how the Seahawks and Broncos have looked so far this season, It may be tough to be in a position to take Stroud. Even with Geno playing well through the first four games, Stroud is a guy I believe can get Seattle to a Super Bowl by year 2.
