The 2-3 Seahawks play the 2-3 Arizona Cardinals in Week 6. Here are four things I am guessing happen in Seattle’s first division showdown of 2022. And if Seattle does win, the Cardinals will move to last place in the NFC West and Seattle will be one game better.

The Cardinals have been struggling on offense a bit this year but as we all know, the Seahawks defense is so porous that they have a way of making even just decent players, like Taysom Hill in Week 5, look like future Hall of Famers. Kyler Murray could be great in Week 6. Then he might recede back to being frustrating for Cardinals fans in Week 7.

This is likely going to be a very up-and-down season for Seattle. Heck, it already has been. But as long as Seattle doesn’t lose Geno Smith they have a chance. That sounds a bit insane to say now if you happen to have been sleeping for the last 8 months. (If so, good for you! That’s good rest.)

But Smith currently has the highest passer rating in the NFL and it isn’t because of some fluky game. He has been terrific this year so far. His QBR is currently 113.2. Compare that to Kyler Murray of the Cardinals who has a passer rating of 84.3 and Seattle clearly has the hotter quarterback coming into the game.

Plus, compare that to former Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (current passer rating of 82.8) and Pete Carroll and John Schneider look like geniuses for pulling off the Wilson trade. At least, right now they do. Let’s hope it stays that way.

But let’s get back to Week 6. Here are a few things I think will happen on Sunday. (Just don’t hate me if and when I am wrong.)
