Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker with yet another monstrous game on the ground

When the Seahawks lost their lead running back Rashaad Penny due to injury early this season, they were forced to hand the ball and the lead back reigns to their rookie running back, Kenneth Walker. The second-rounder in this year’s rookie draft is showing everyone why he is the top two running back of that rookie class.

In the first quarter against the Chargers, Ken Walker was able to get pay dirt with his 12-yard run that put the Seahawks on top 14-0. That TD run score was critical for Seattle’s victory as LA Chargers were forced to throw more and try to keep up with Seattle’s offense. That in itself was enough for the Seahawks to stop the Chargers to establish the run on them.

Walker was already having a good day, and it got even better in the fourth quarter as he was able to find a huge hole and run it on the sideline for a 74-yard run touchdown that pretty much iced the game for the Seahawks. Ken Walker finished the game with 23 carries for 168 rush yards with 2 rushing touchdowns. As Ken Walker keeps running wild, so will the Seahawks moving forward as they try to solidify their hold in the NFC West.
