The 4-3 Seahawks play the 6-1 (seriously) New York Giants in Seattle on Sunday in Week 8. New York wants to run the ball and rely on a good defense to win. Seattle needs a versatile offense and the defense to play as it has the past two weeks to be victorious.

But Seattle is dealing with a bunch of injuries right now. Not only is DK Metcalf dealing with a knee issue he suffered in Week 7 and is listed as questionable, but Tyler Lockett is also questionable once again. Lockett admitted to holding back a bit at the beginning of Week 7 because he wasn’t sure his hamstring would hold up. Seattle can’t afford for Lockett to have a sluggish start against the Giants.

Rookie running back Ken Walker has been fantastic in the first two starts of his career, but only thing that has made Seattle’s offense good is its versatility. Seattle cannot rely only on Walker to win the game offensively. Geno Smith will need third options at receiver like Marquise Goodwin and Dee Eskridge to step up and be great on Sunday or Seattle will lose.

Seahawks vs. Giants Odds and Betting Pick for Week 8

Per BetSided, the Seahawks are favored at -3 at home. This is a weird game. Neither team gets much respect but I guess New York gets even less respect even though they are 6-1? Seattle is favored and that’s fine (thanks, Geno!).

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
