Seahawks rookie Kenneth Walker kept pounding the rock

Fresh from being named October’s Offensive Rookie of the Month, Kenneth Walker again is proving that he is an integral part of this Seattle’s offense. It was not pretty, as Walker kept getting bottled up by the Arizona defense. But much like some of the Seahawks’ games, the rook found a way to put the game away when they needed him to.

Kenneth Walker finished the game with 26 carries for 109 rushing yards with 2 rushing touchdowns. The two rushing touchdowns came in late in the fourth quarter to put an end to any ideas of a Cardinals comeback. Kenneth Walker’s second touchdown in the quarter was a five-yard rumble toward the right hash mark, that put the Cardinals away for good 31-21. Walker’s two running touchdowns are somewhat reminiscent of Beastmode as he runs with a purpose and refuses to be denied on the goal line.

Before the Week 9 clash against the Cardinals, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said they have not yet ‘cut loose’ Kenneth Walker. That quote from uncle Pete, makes most of us have our mouths watering, as we can only imagine what damage Kenneth Walker can do on the field when the Seahawks take the chain off from K9.
