The Seahawks will get 5 sacks and will win their fifth-straight game

Tom Brady has been very good at avoiding sacks in his career for the most part. He isn’t fast but there may be no better quarterback in his when it comes to moving around in the pocket and sensing pressure. In 2022, Brady has only been sacked 14 times which is fifth-least in the NFL. His offensive line is good at pass protecting but he helps them a ton by his ability to move around but also get rid of the ball quickly.

Seattle, however, is on a roll defensively and a lot of this is because the pass rush has been much better since Week 6. In the last four games, Seattle has a combined 19 sacks. Uchenna Nwosu has been great all by himself but he has been getting a lot of help from players like Boye Mafe and Quinton Jefferson. My point is that the Seahawks are able to bring heat from different directions.

And it’s no coincidence that Seattle won each of its last four games either generating the kind of pass rush it has. This is especially true because a lot of the pass rush is coming from the inside and from players like Poona Ford. Interior pass rush wreaks havoc with any quarterback whether you are Kyler Murray or as great as Tom Brady.

Seattle will win the game, though it will be close, 24-18. Brady will make a few great throws as he always does but by the end of the game, Walker will have had a huge day and the Seahawks’ defense will have made enough great plays themselves to be victorious. Seattle will enter the bye week at 7-3 and in first place in the NFC West.
