LB Jordyn Brooks suffered an ACL injury

The Seahawks thought they left this season’s long list of injuries in the rearview of 2022, oh boy, they were dead wrong on that one. The injuries kept piling up for Seattle this season, and this time it is their linebacker Jordyn Brooks, who went down on this game with an ACL injury on his right knee after making a tackle on the Jets’ tight end C.J. Uzomah on the sideline.

The devastating injury for Brooks leaves the Seahawks defense much more depleted as they were already playing without key players such as safety Jamaal Adams. We wish Jordyn Brooks a speedy recovery and come back next season healthier. As for the Seahawks, they need to find how to replace Brooks who is playing great football this season reflected by his 103 tackle solo and 1 sack this year.

This will be tough for the Seahawks to find answers in a short duration of time, but somehow, some way be able to do so if the wish to make it to the postseason this year. A collective group of guys in the Seahawks’ locker room have to step up in the absence of Brooks to help the team up reach their playoff hopes this season.
