On your grandfather’s favorite podcast to fall asleep to, we discuss the Seattle Seahawks re-signing Geno Smith and the Oscars. But wait, if isn’t that enticing enough, don’t leave. We also find a way to talk about stuff I am much too lazy to remember as I am typing this.
The thing I can remember us discussing, Seahawks-wise, is the Geno Smith contract. Is it good for the franchise or not? And how does it affect the Seahawks’ cap space moving forward? Does paying Geno mean the team won’t be as good overall?
Also, we apologize for any Seattle football news that may have been missed in the last couple of days. We recorded the podcast on Wednesday half-expecting something unforeseen, like the NFL folding, to happen between recording the podcast and the episode going live. We discuss that as well.
