Who are the announcers and referees for Seahawks versus Cardinals in Week 12?
By Lee Vowell
The Seattle Seahawks battle for first place in the NFC West when they take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12. It has been a weird year. Few thought Arizona would be in first place so late in the season, but after beginning 3-0, few probably thought Seattle would be 5-5 entering Week 12.
Should the Seahawks win, they will move to 6-5 and have a half-game lead over the Cardinals due to the head-to-head advantage. If the Los Angeles Rams beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, the Rams would have the division lead, but they likely will lose. The San Francisco 49ers will be without Brock Purdy and Nick Bosa and play the Green Bay Packers. The 49ers are going to lose.
If all that works out, Seattle and Arizona would be 6-5 with Seattle having the head-to-head lead, while the 49ers and Rams would both be 5-6. That seems only fitting in this weird season so far.
Seahawks vs. Cardinals announcers for Week 12
Proving that big business media hates the Seahawks (or really loves the Packers), Arizona and Seattle are going to get FOX's B-team on the broadcast. That is actually good news for 12s because the crew is ridiculously good and worth being paid more. Still, FOX (channel 13 in Seattle) will give almost the entire country the San Francisco 49ers versus Green Bay Packers game, and only the Pacific Northwest and Phoenix area the Seattle against Arizona game.
The announcers for the game will be Adam Amin on play-by-play, Mark Sanchez doing analysis, and Kristina Pink reporting from the sidelines. That's plural. She won't just stand on the Seahawks sideline and shout at the Cardinals sideline, right?
Seahawks vs. Cardinals officiating crew for Week 12
Scott Novak will be the head official for Seattle versus Arizona, and he is a good one. Oddly, though, he has only called one Seahawks game since the beginning of the 2021 season and that was last season's Seahawks and Cardinals game at Lumen Field. At least, the noise at Lumen Field will not bother him or his crew.
That crew consists of Novak, Mark Pellis, Brian Sakowski, Mark Stewart, Terry Brown, David Meslow, Terrence Miles, Matt Sumstine, and Tim England. Here is an interesting note. Novak is the first official to wear the uniform number of 1, so clearly he is confident in what he does.
How to listen to Seahawks vs. Cardinals
If you are old-school and want to listen, and not watch the game, you can do that. The Seahawks radio broadcast team is among the best, of course, and includes Steve Raible doing play-by-play, Dave Wyman doing analysis, and Jen Mueller reporting from the sideline. You can listen in the Seattle area at Seattle Sports 710 AM and KIRO Newsradio 97.3.
If you have an NFL+ subscription and do not live in the Seattle area, you can listen to the game via that app. You can also tune in to SiriusXM stations 81 or 226 and here all the action. The Sports USA radio team will have Josh Appel on play-by-play and Brandon Noble doing analysis.
