All season long, Ernest Jones has had the same response when ending a press conference when asked about quarterback Sam Darnold. It's a simple two-word response that is definitely NSFW. The Seattle Seahawks linebacker simply says, "F*** you."

The answer isn't meant to be rude, and it certainly isn't meant to be disrespectful toward Darnold. It is a way for the linebacker to speak for all Seahawks in terms of how the quarterback has been viewed by many. Darnold can't win the big games? "Eff you." Darnold isn't a quarterback who can lead his team to a Super Bowl victory? "Eff you."

That year-long response will also be part of the Super Bowl parade when the team travels from Lumen Field to City Center. Jones might not be shouting "Eff you" to fans strung along the streets, but he won't have to. His shirt will say it all.

Other teammates will be wearing the shirt as well. Jones revealed the t-shirt while speaking with podcast host Kay Adams after the Super Bowl. The photo on the clothing features Darnold's face while he has a cigarette in his mouth, and he is holding up his hand with his middle finger raised. Jones's season-long response made into picture form.

The linebacker also told Adams he was thankful for Darnold, as maybe the team doesn't reach the Super Bowl without him. To be even clearer, Seattle likely loses in the NFC Championship game to the Los Angeles Rams if not for the quarterback's brilliance in the game, one in which the defense struggled.

Sam Darnold changed the arc of his career this season. He was good in 2024, his first season, where he was truly great for a large part of it, but failed at the end with the Minnesota Vikings. He wasn't able to change people's minds because he couldn't win late in the season. This year? A different story unfolded.

Darnold didn't have a single turnover in the postseason after leading the NFL in that category during the regular season. He took what any given defense gave him, and that spanned from his excellence against the Rams to more of a game-manager against the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots.

All the while, his teammates, such as Ernest Jones, had his back. They still do, and will show on their t-shirts exactly how much during the Seattle Seahawks' Super Bowl parade.
