Which jerseys are the Seahawks wearing for Week 14 rematch with the Cardinals?
The Seattle Seahawks will face the Arizona Cardinals for the second time in three weeks with the NFC West division lead on the line. They'll also face several big questions and challenges, but at least one already has an easy answer. That's right, 12s, we know what uni combos the Hawks will be styling this afternoon!
The Hawks could potentially drop from first place in the division to third with a road loss to the Cards. Arizona would own the tie-break advantage, as would Los Angeles if they managed to upset Buffalo. The latter may sound like a joke, but Any Given Sunday is more than a movie title. So yes, a lot is at stake in this game.
It certainly doesn't help that Kenneth Walker II has been ruled out of the contest. Zach Charbonnet steps into the lead back role with Kenny MacIntosh as his backup. This changes any thoughts of using Charbonnet as the kick returner, and almost certainly takes MacIntosh out of the picture as well. Seattle will have enough to worry about without another potential injury to a suddenly thin running back stable.
The Seattle Seahawks will go to a rare combo for this desert matchup
Yeah, yeah, I know. You're dying to know which jersey to pull off the rack for this game. Let's talk a bit more about this game first. With Walker out, the run blocking becomes more critical than ever. It also becomes far more likely that the guy the Hawks signed for the role, Jaelon Darden, will get the nod. He and Olu Oluwatimi need to be at their best for Seattle to pull this one off. It wouldn't hurt to see Jason Myers nail every kick, either.
May I have a drumroll, Buddy? Buddy? Hey, Bud - ah, forget it. The Hawks are wearing white jerseys and gray pants - sorry, Wolf Gray pants - for their 1:05 kickoff in Glendale. As Eric Idle said in one of the Pythons' greatest sketches - this from Live at the Hollywood Bowl - "Glendale! Say no more, say no more, say no more!" You know, because Seattle hasn't always had the best time in the desert. And yes, Idle was talking about Glendale California - nudge nudge.
Back to what matters - the uniform. This will be just the 15th appearance of the combo in 13 seasons. It may be rare, but it worked against the Falcons to the tune of a 34-17 win. Your great-grandpa - still watching the Hawks on his black-and-white Philco - will appreciate this matchup, as the Cards will be in black jerseys and pants.

Official team store
You know the drill by now, 12s. The Seahawks Pro Shop has virtually everything you want, and no doubt more than you knew existed. Be sure to check out the awesome Inspire Change Collection. 12 percent of the sales of hats and tees benefit the Seattle chapter of the UNCF.
Get this, 12s. 100 percent - that's right, every penny - of the sales of the Inspire Change collection hoodies goes to Coyote Central. It's based right in the heart of Seattle, and is focused on - well, here's their mission statement: "Coyote Central sparks creativity in young people, putting tools in their hands to build skills and forge their futures." Local artist Damon Brown designed the gear, and it is sweet.
