Everybody has picks for the Super Bowl. That is part of the fun of the game, of course. Sure, some celebrity will tweet out a prediction, and after the game, some troll will respond with, "That didn't age well," as if the troll doesn't know the meaning of "prediction." Well, here is another: the Seattle Seahawks will beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX 23-17.

But a far more important person than I in terms of football also recently made his own prediction for Super Bowl 60 in front of a live television audience. He didn't hesitate when asked who he thought would win, either. Hopefully, the same quickness with which he delivered his reply is the same speed at which the Seahawks end any potential drama involved with the game.

While a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the host asked his guest, Cleveland Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett, who he thought would win the Super Bowl. Fallon couldn't even finish his question before Garrett blurted out, "Seahawks."

When Fallon pressed for more, the Browns' edge rusher added, "I think they're a more well-rounded team. Those guys have a great defense, and I side with the defense usually."

Of course, the Patriots have a very good defense, too, and are extremely well coached. The game could become a defensive showdown with loads of turnovers forced by both teams. The positive part from Garrett's observation is that he clearly understands how to play defense, and if the future First-Ballot Hall of Famer likes the Seahawks defense better, that speaks volumes.

He didn't drop a score prediction, but his response was quick, which implied he didn't think the game would be close. Of course, expecting a blowout is probably a mistake and a setup for sadness. A Seattle victory would be nice enough.

Of course, so would the Cleveland Browns, maybe deciding they want to let Myles Garrett go to another team. They won't, of course (at least, they shouldn't), but if they did, seeing Garrett in a Seattle Seahawks uniform would be quite nice.

That won't happen before Super Bowl 60, of course. But let's hope Garrett's prognostication comes true, and at the end of the game, downtown Seattle is having a party just like it was in early 2014 when the Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.
