Uchenna Nwosu - LB
In one of last year's better but more expensive free agent signings, the decision to sign Uchenna Nwosu couldn't have come at a better time.
The linebacker had spent the first four years of his career with the Chargers, performing well enough to maintain his spot on the team and earn a big payday once hitting free agency. But once he joined Seattle, it's almost as if he had kept his best football hidden until getting with his new team.
Nwosu's production in 2022 was not just noteworthy and impressive; it also began the conversation of extending him after just one season.
Starting all 17 regular season games, he totaled 66 combined tackles, 26 quarterback hits, 9.5 sacks, 61 total pressures, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries, all of which made for the best season of his career.
Holy contributor, much.
Presumably remaining the top pass rusher this upcoming season, Nwosu is primed to become an even more significant threat to offenses across the league. With the reunion of Bobby Wagner and the potential of those returning to the defense from last year, the potential of this roster is exciting and promising.
