What channel is the Seattle Seahawks Preseason Week 2 on today?
By Lee Vowell
The Seattle Seahawks got off to a fantastic start in their three-game stretch of meaningless games of the preseason when Seattle defeated the Los Angeles Chargers in preseason Week 1. Of course, while who wins and who loses doesn't truly matter, the games are not actually meaningless. Players are battling for roster spots for 2024.
This is important to note because most of the starters for both teams will not play when Seattle takes on the Tennessee Titans in preseason Week 2 on August 17 at 4 pm PT. The reason is that the Seahawks and Titans held two joint practices during the week when the starters got most of the reps. There is no reason to have the starters go against one another yet again.
This might make the preseason game even more fun for 12s. Backups will be playing backups and fighting with all their talent will allow them to show coaches they deserve spots on the active 53-man rosters. The fierceness between the players on every snap will be palpable. Here is how to watch the action unfold.
How can you watch the Seattle Seahawks versus the Tennessee Titans in Preseason Week 2?
Seattle will play Tennessee in Nashville at Nissan Stadium. Let's say you are not going to the game but will watch it on TV. You are in luck! In the Seattle area, the game will be shown on KING 5. Preseason Week 1, due to the Olympics on KING 5, was shown on KONG TV and that was a bit of a mess.
For 12s that live in the Nashville area, you are probably going to the game, but let's assume you are not. In Tennessee, the game will be shown on your local ABC affiliate.
If you don't live in Tennessee or in the Seattle viewing area for Seahawks games, you can stream the action on NFL+ with a subscription. Unlike the NFL Sunday Ticket, NFL+ won't require you to take out a second mortgage on your home. Plus, you can watch replays of games with an NFL+ subscription as well.
If you just want to listen to the game, an NFL+ subscription also allows you to do that. You can choose the Seahawks broadcast featuring play-by-play from Steve Raible and analysis from Dave Wyman. In the Seattle area, you can listen at Seattle Sports 710 AM and KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM.
