How to listen to Seahawks vs. Broncos NFL Week 1 game on the radio
By Lee Vowell
Your Seattle Seahawks are almost ready to begin their 2024 season. The team will play the Denver Broncos in Week 1. Seattle will have a new head coach and the Broncos will have a new - and rookie - quarterback.
Seattle's coach, Mike Macdonald, has never been a part of an official game where he is the head coach before. Nix has a lot of experience as a college quarterback. Playing in Lumen Field with a lot of loud 12s is another breed of animal.
But let's assume you are at the game and cannot hear anything. You're in luck. Take your portable radio and listen to the game with your earbuds. Here is how.
How to Listen to Seahawks vs. Broncos
When/where is the game?
Week 1 between the Seahawks and the Broncos will be held at Lumen Field in Seattle on Sunday, September 8. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:05 pm PT (4:05 pm ET).
Local radio broadcast info
- Seattle: Tune in to Seattle Sports 710 AM or KIRO Newsradio 97.3 to catch the game on the radio
- Denver: Tune in at KOA 850 AM or 94.1 FM as those appear to be the flagship stations for the Broncos
Who are the Seahawks radio broadcasters?
12s get lucky here as the radio team is one of the best in the NFL. Steve Raible will do the play-by-play while former Seahawks linebacker Dave Wyman will fill in with commentary. The venerable Jen Mueller will get all the information you need in the game from the sidelines.
Using an NFL App / Website
You can stream the radio broadcast through the NFL App or the official NFL website (locally). This will require a subscription to NFL Game Pass, which includes radio broadcasts of all games. Plus, you can watch video replays of games immediately after they finish.
Other listening options
If you have a SiriusXM subscription (and lucky you), you can listen to the game on one of the dedicated NFL channels. TuneIn also offers radio streaming for NFL games. The Seahawks and Broncos have official apps that include the streaming of radio broadcasts for games but you can pick them up only locally.
