Seattle Seahawks should sign LB Willie Gay

Of the four mentioned, this might be the most expensive add for the Seattle Seahawks. This team can move in a lot of different directions at the linebacker position. A group where Macdonald had tremendous success in Baltimore. Both Bobby Wagner and Jordyn Brooks are going to be free agents. While I prefer for Seattle to retain both, if they were only able to keep one, I'd love to see them be paired with Willie Gay.

In a loaded Chiefs linebacker room, Willie Gay was probably one of the better athletes. Showing improvement in his instincts and learning to trust his eyes, he has gotten better in coverage. Downhill, he is good at attacking and the one keynote to make is Macdonald will be able to utilize him as a blitzer as he did with Patrick Queen and Roquan Smith.

Seattle Seahawks should sign S Geno Stone

The Baltimore Ravens parallel. Safety Geno Stone just had a breakout year for Macdonald and the Ravens' defense. Now, entering free agency, Seattle should turn to Stone to fill a potential void at the safety position. Ironically, he could serve as the Julian Love signing from last season. With Jamal Adams' future in serious doubt and knowing how much Macdonald likes to deploy three safety looks, Stone could be a great addition.

Last season, Seattle used Quandre Diggs as the single high safety with Jamal Adams roaming in the box and Julian Love typically playing slot. Stone plays his best when playing the role of Diggs. It is worth mentioning that Diggs does have a big contract, so if they cut him and signed Stone, I wouldn't be surprised. A safety duo of Julian Love & Geno Stone would be a nice start to a revamped safety room.
