A look at the Seahawks 2023 Preseason schedule and broadcast team

Seattle Seahawks' mandatory minicamp is underway which means we get to see every player in camp, if not all participating in on-field drills. This also means we are inching closer to training camp and the beginning of preseason. We now know when all of Seattle’s preseason games will be and who will be on the preseason television broadcast.

Let’s start with the television broadcast team as it is pretty cool. For starters, the play-by-play will be done by Kate Scott. Scott will be the first woman to handle the play-by-play duties for the Seahawks. For those who don’t know Scott, she has worked on broadcasts for a number of sports, including the NBA, NHL, college football, NWSL, and the Olympics.

Former Seattle great K.J. Wright will also be involved in the broadcast as part of the pre-and-post-game shows. Wright will be doing his first preseason with the team on the broadcasts. It will be worth seeing how well he does – I assume he will do really well – as he could platform from the Seahawks preseason broadcast to a more national one if he wants.

Scott will be joined by Michael Robinson in the booth during games, and Wright will be joined by Paul Silvi on the pre-and-post-game shows. Michael Bennett will return for his second preseason as an analyst during the games. All the games will be played in the Seattle area on KING 5.

The radio crew on the Seahawks Radio Network will remain the great Steve Raible and commentary by Dave Wyman. Jen Mueller will be the sidelines reporter. Michael Bumpus will be joined on the pre-and-post-game shows by Paul Moyer, Ray Roberts, Marcus Trufant, and Robert Turbin. The radio broadcasts can be heard on Seattle Sports 710 AM and KIRO 97.3.

As far as the games themselves, here is when those will happen.

Preseason game 1: Minnesota Vikings at Seattle on Thursday, August 10th at 7 pm PT

Preseason game 2: Dallas Cowboys at Seattle on Saturday, August 19th at 7 pm PT

Preseason game 3: Seahawks at Green Bay Packers on Saturday, August 26th at 10 am PT
