Seahawks vs. Chargers Preseason Week 1 time, location, TV and streaming odds and more

The Seattle Seahawks finally get to practice against a team wearing a different uniform. We could say "play" against the other team, but preseason games are really only glorified scrimmages. Teams will not scheme against one another and the presumed starters won't play much if at all.
That does not mean that watching preseason games has no merit. This is the Seahawks after all. Even if they were playing a college team, 12s would still (rightfully) want to watch.
How can you watch (or listen or stream) Seattle versus Los Angeles, you ask? We have that information. If you live outside the Seattle area, you might need to pony up some money to see the game.

Seahawks vs. Chargers game time and location in Preseason Week 1
Seattle (not the whole city because that would be weird) will travel to Los Angeles on Saturday, August 10, to play the Chargers. The game will happen at SoFi Stadium somewhere in LA. The city is huge and if you thought Seattle traffic was bad, just wait. It is pretty ugly.
Kickoff is set for 4:05 pm PT (7:05 pm ET for East Coast 12s). Tune in early for likely any chance to catch a glimpse of some of the starters for the Seahawks. The game will mostly feature backups on both sides.

According to Seahawks.com, the game will be shown in the Seattle area on the excellently named KONG-TV. KING will carry the other two preseason games and you might just want to take a peek to see if they are showing the game against the Chargers too.
The regular stations will carry the game on a new technology called the "radio." Doing play-by-play for the Seahawks will be the fantastic Steve Raible. I cannot be bothered to see who is calling the game for the Chargers and why would you want to listen to that anyway?

As opposed to the regular season, preseason games can be found nearly exclusively on NFL+. This does require a subscription, but plans are relatively affordable. An annual subscription is $49.99 and there are monthly options as well. During the season, you can stream the Seahawks radio call on NFL+ too.

Seahawks vs. Chargers: Preseason Week 1 betting odds, spread and over/under
According to FanDuel, Seattle is a 1.5 point favorite against LA. The over/under is 35.5. The moneyline has the Seahawks at -135 and Los Angeles at +110.
A bit of a warning here, however. This is a preseason game with backups versus backups so if you are going to place a bet on Seattle, you better know that the Seahawks' backups are better. Either way, while betting is always a risky move, preseason games are even riskier.
