We have finally made it my friends! Welcome to the most important draft in the 48-year history of the Seattle Seahawks (Hey, that’s a good number!). The Seahawks aren’t just loaded with ten draft picks, but they have four picks in the top 52, two in the top 20, and the golden Russell Wilson-sized nugget at pick 5. While the world thought John Schneider and Pete Carroll would tank in 2022, they showed everyone they were so much more than Wilson, going 9-8 and making the playoffs.

Heading into 2023, this draft is so important not just because of the incredible draft capital, but what’s for the taking. The NFC West is the weakest it has looked since probably 2016. The NFC just had its weakest season since potentially 2005, and things don’t look better in 2023. The Eagles locked up Jalen Hurts, but have multiple starters this offseason, including Miles Sanders, Isaac Seumalo, and Javon Hargrave.

The 49ers don’t have a viable QB at the moment, the Packers just traded Aaron Rodgers to the AFC, Tom Brady retired, and the Lions may be gambling away a golden opportunity in 2023. There’s a legitimate case to be made that, with an apparent successful free agency and the potential of a strong draft, the Seahawks could be the biggest threat to Philadelphia in 2023.

Notes from the Nest: Seahawks Draft Manifesto

It is with this potential that myself and so many others on 12th Man Rising have put so much time and effort into studying these players, and how the Seahawks can make the jump. After hundreds of hours of studying players, tape, workouts, and social media smokescreens, I am so excited to share my first-ever Seahawks draft manifesto.

Here you will have my top personal Seahawks Big Board with the top 52 players for Seattle to pick from with their first four picks. We'll also take a look at my top players I most desperately want Seattle to draft, and those I want them to avoid. Lastly, I’ll run through each round and pick, breaking down how I think Seattle will proceed and how I’d attack that pick. So, without further ado, here’s the 2023 Seahawks draft manifesto.
