The 2023 NFL season is just three months away so preparing for your fantasy leagues is obviously important, right? What could, in fact, be more important? (I joke.) There are several Seahawks you should draft, though.

According to ESPN, in fact, four Seattle Seahawks are in the top 79 players in the NFL for taking in fantasy leagues. This is based on PPR leagues, not standard scoring. The difference is that in PPR if a player catches a bunch of passes that's really good as in most leagues the player gets a point per reception on top of getting points per so many yards receiving, etc.

This is also why in most PPR leagues good quarterbacks are not as valuable as having a good receiver or having a running back that can catch lots of passes. Basically, instead of going real life and taking Patrick Mahomes first, choose receiver Justin Jefferson instead. For people who just want to take Seahawks, though, ESPN says to take the following.

Four Seahawks in ESPN's Top 100 fantasy players for 2023

Receiver DK Metcalf - 24th overall

Metcalf has been a very good receiver for four years now, of course, but he hasn't really exploded to something like 1,800 yards and 18 touchdowns. He might not this season either, now that the Seahawks have added Jaxon Smith-Njigba as WR3. Still, maybe Metcalf will see more one-on-one coverage this year and have a monster season.

Running back Ken Walker III - 34th overall

Walker had a good rookie season and ran for over 1,000 yards and can also catch passes. But he might have a ceiling with production because Seattle might share some of his workload with 2023 draftee Zach Charbonnet. Still, Walker should be RB1, and because of his ability to catch, might be a must-have for your fantasy team.

Receiver Tyler Lockett - 49th overall

Lockett is a metronome of a player who has produced between 965 yards and 1,175 yards along with between 8 to 10 touchdown catches in each of the last five seasons. He will probably get that many again this year too. But Smith-Njigba is a bit more like Lockett than Metcalf so Lockett could have his production cut into a bit more by the rookie.

Quarterback Geno Smith - 79th overall

For the record, Russell Wilson isn't on the top 100 list. Also, just to prove how much more valuable running backs and receivers are in PPR fantasy, the top ranked quarterback (Mahomes) is 27th overall. Let's just hope in real football, Smith is as good or better than in 2022 and leads the Seahawks to a deep playoff run.
