NFL power rankings

After four straight games of playing teams inside the top five of FanSided's NFL power rankings, the Seahawks get a bit of a break for the rest of the season. That does not mean, of course, that Seattle is going to win their last three games - they still have to show up and play well in some odd circumstances - but Seattle will at least likely be favored in the remaining games.

By odd circumstances, I mean that Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are on Sundays this year so traveling the day before Christmas and dealing with family plans and so on can add a slight level of stress that is not normally there. In Week 16, the Seahawks travel to Nashville to take on the Titans, but Seattle gets to host the Pittsburgh Steelers on New Year's Eve.

Speaking of the Titans, they are currently ranked 25 in the power rankings. They lost to the C.J. Stroud-less Houston Texans at home in Week 15. Tennessee also saw new starting quarterback Will Levis suffer a high ankle sprain and its unlikely at this point that he plays against Seattle. Instead, the Seahawks will probably face veteran Ryan Tannehill.

As for the Seahawks, they moved up four spots from 25 to 21 after their thrilling Week 15 victory over Philadelphia. Seattle managed more yards on their final drive of the game (92) then they did in the first half (90). But a win is a win, right?
